Reviews Syma S107/S107G R/C Helicopter - Blue

I work at a software company and everyone here has 1 of these. They are so easy to fly & so much fun they are considered stress relief. It takes about 15 minutes to master the controls completely and then it's hours of fun (about 10 minutes at a time). We crash them all the time (dogfighting) & at most it just scratches up the blades a little. I highly recommend.

I was nervous that I would only get 3 or 4 flights out of this when I ordered it. Turns out that this is a very durable little helicopter. It is very fun to fly and not terribly difficult to control. It does take a couple of flights to get it down, but the toy can handle it. In short, great value for the money.

This helicopter has been easy to fly, durable, and loads of fun. I purchased this for my 7 year old and 39 year old. Both boys fight to play with it, and it's been on a near constant mission since the day we got it. We have a small fleet of 4 other helicopters, and this one is by far the easiest to fly. It took about 5 minutes for my 7 year old to get the hang of flying it. I am not an expert on remote helicopters, but another nerdherder friend from high school is, and he recommended this one. I trust him because he used to be in the AV club, and he's got 20 other helis. As with any of these helicopters, they are fragile, so I'd recommend buying the set of spare parts. If your house is anything like ours, your 7 year old will be extra careful, but your 39 year old is likely to attempt an overly brazen mission that will result in a broken tail fin. The battery doesn't last particularly long (maybe 20 minutes), but that's not been an issue for us. The heli plugs into the computer to charge.
