This a great watch. If you are at all familiar with using a digital
watch you easily figure this one out. Take a beating, stands up to the
pool and heat from cooking. Definitely not my first or last baby G.
I was looking for a durable and stylish watch to wear on a daily basis
around the house, in the yard, or during exercise. I have several "nice"
watches, that I do not want the crystal scratched or the bands broken
or damaged during strenuous activity. This watch is perfect. Very
comfortable to wear. It looks great on and is a little oversized, but
nothing like my designer watches, (nice for a change). The numbers and
date are easy to read and with the push of a button the face is
illuminated to see in dark environments. The "animated" dolphin, dog,
cat and pufferfish only show up for a brief moment when you push the
button to light up the screen. Setting the time zone and date are easier
than I was lead to believe from previous reviews. Once the date and
time are set you should never have to touch it again, as it adjusts to
DST and the calender on its own. Great watch for a great price.
I've always liked G-Shock watches but it's made for men and it's pretty
big on my wrist but this Baby-G is just perfect. I didn't know whether
white was for me but I'm so glad I picked the white one because the
black one looked way too glossy. The only thing I did not like was that
it took a week to ship it out from wherever these watches come from then
it took another 5 days to arrive at my house. But I guess it was worth
the wait.
