My daughter loves this toy. We keep it in her crib so she associates it
with bed time. She plays with it when she is being stubborn and won't go
to bed, but snuggles with it when she is sleepy. Get out of the way
glow worm. The seahorse has volume control, stays lit up longer, and has
a wider variety of lullabies. So sweet and so perfect. A toy that I
know my daughter will remember and want for her own children.
This review is for all of you people out there that have unhappy babies!
I had an unexpected third child. Let me tell you she's a piece of
work! She definitely wasn't one of those happy babies. She's very
demanding and never happy with anything. I felt like I was losing my
mind. I couldn't even go shopping, she'd cry and I mean pitch a
complete fit. One day I was walking around Target and picked up this
Seahorse. I pushed the belly, and it played soothing music. I think
that she was 2-3 months old. She immediately stopped crying! No Joke! I
walked around and had to keep pushing the belly as it has one of those
plastic pieces that have to be pulled out for it to play longer. She was
happy as long as the seahorse played it tunes. I put it down and would
pick it up each time I wanted to shop in Target. I wouldn't buy it
'cause I figured that it was a fluke and I'd get it home only to find
out that she wouldn't want anything more to do with it. One day I forgot
to tell the cashier to put it back and I accidentally purchased it. I
contemplated taking it back and then thought that it was cheap enough
and I'd just keep it. It was one of the best things I've even gotten
her. We called it her best friend. She'd be screaming mad, we turn on
her best friend and she'd calm down and fall asleep. No baby is too
young for this. You just turn it on and lay it next to the baby. It's
truly awesome!!!!!
I love this product. I wanted to find something to help my six month
old daughter transition to her crib and I chose this as I liked the
music and it is so cute. My daughter just loves it. She cried when we
first put her in her crib, but became distracted by the Seahorse and
then just fell asleep - I think the light is mesmerizing to her. The
music is soothing - although I still think a bit too loud, even on the
"low" setting, so we put some masking tape over the speaker inside the
velcro and it worked like a charm. Now we put it on every night and she
is asleep before the music times out - same goes for the few occasions
when she wakes up in the middle of the night. Love it!
