This seat is so multi-functional. We use it instead of a high chair (we
put the straps around a chair we have at home) and feed our daughter in
it. When we first got it (~5mo), our daughter loved to sit and play in
it. She loved to chew on the toys and toss around the cups! Now that
she's older (8 mo), we use it at feedings and to keep her occupied for a
little bit when we are doing something around the house.
The tray slides in and out easily to get the baby out.
We
were visiting friends who have a Bumbo...it just looked uncomfortable
(her thighs barely seemed to fit and she was just 6mo old!) and it was
MUCH harder to get her in and out of it and I HATED the plastic Bumbo
tray that supposedly snapped in place...it was so hard to use and caught
her hands once, making her cry. \
This seat is cheaper and more importantly, WAY more functional!
I love that it grows with my baby and plan to use it for a while...
There are very few baby products that earn all thumbs up!
But
this has to be one of them. It is the best activity seat out there. It
is versatile, portable, safe, and promises to be useful for at least 2
more years - quite something for any baby product. It is also well made,
bright, interesting and my 5 month old daughter really seems to be
enjoying sitting in it and playing or just looking around.
I like
that the seat is spongy and feels firm, but gentle. The belt is a good
safety feature, and I can slip her in it and get her out quite easily.
I
love the toy tray which rotates, so she can look at different toys. The
toy tray is also helpful because it prevents any non-attached toys from
falling to the ground. The toys are high quality and seem interesting
enough for a 5 month old! Finally, the toy tray is easy to use, easy to
put in and remove.
Overall, for the price, this is an excellent
excellent activity seat (it's half the price of expensive activity
centers), and can be used for at least a few years! Great product. I
would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive but
high quality activity seat for an active and alert infant.
