Very good timepiece for low price. Slightly confusing multilingual day
marking but proper manual allows you to correct the problem and English
settings finally works. Bracelet was too big/long and I had to remove 2
links, not an easy process. You must be a little handy and have a pin
removal tool (needle, thin nail + pliers). For less skilled I recommend
visit at any watch/watch batteries selling place.
This watch was a graduation present for my high school graduation a long
time ago. This watch ran for 20 years and I never replaced it until
today. The price was right, it shipped in two days. This is a simple
reliable time peace that will take abuse and never let you down. Best of
all it's automatic never needs winding. Love this watch.
This is a very nice looking Seiko "5" Automatic dress watch for cheap.
It utilizes Seiko's 7S26 movement which is 21 jewels. This movement, to
save costs, does not hack and does not manual wind. So you must wear
the watch for it to keep running. My favorite aspect of the watch is
the exhibition case back which allows you to see the 7S26 movement at
work. Now, granted, this isn't a Grand Seiko or a Patek so the movement
isn't necessarily "beautiful". Regardless I love to be able to check
out how this mechanical watch works from time to time. One caveat about
this watch is the bracelet. It is basically junk in my opinion. But
for sixty some dollars it's hard to complain about it too much. So I
just replaced it with a Hadley-Roma Men's MSM881RB-180 18-mm Brown Oil-Tan Leather Watch Strap.
The watch as a whole now looks much sharper and feels nicer on the
wrist. So if you're looking for a nice, dependable automatic mechanical
watch from Seiko for practically dirt cheap you could do worse than
this SNKK65. I'm very very pleased with my purchase (after replacing
the bracelet).
